A developer who wishes to remain anonymous tells us that Apple is preparing to roll out iOS 6.1.3 this week in much the same manner as it did with iOS 6.1.2 – without too much fanfare.

A person with alleged knowledge of Apple’s plans on the iOS front has tipped us off that iOS 6.1.3 is coming out later in the week with fixes for two recently discovered security bugs.

This developer says that the passcode-lock bug (widely covered in the media in the past few weeks) has been “a top priority” for Apple after the release of iOS 6.1.2, which fixed some networking bugs.

Another blip on Apple’s radar is a bug affecting the “Don’t Allow Changes” setting for App Store accounts. Our source also said that iOS 6.1.3 should include additional fixes and tweaks, including efforts to reduce battery drainage on some devices.
