Sources in Germany who were accurate on iOS 6.1.1 are now singing the same tune
iFun, the German blog that’s accurately tipped us off regarding Apple’s iOS 6.1.1 launch, has got it on file from the same sources that iOS 6.1.2 is coming out in the next few days. The sources cited by the blog indicated that iOS 6.1.2 is likely to arrive even before February 20, which would mark one of the closest sequential iOS updates in the history of the operating system.
The cause? Bugs. Lots of them too, as we too have reported. These include battery drainage issues, connectivity woes, a major problem affecting users of Microsoft Exchange, and even a recently discovered security flaw allowing curious eyes to bypass an iPhone’s passcode lock.
“This suggests ifun.de present information derived from the same circles, which already includes the launch of iOS 6.1.1, only eight hours before its release predict accurately could,” reads a rough (Google) translation of the tidbit.
So I guess we should expect iOS 6.1.2 to arrive no later than Wednesday, next week. Are you having any problems with iOS 6.1/6.1.1?
