Apple is actively testing a newly included option within iCloud's Photo Stream, the feature that enables iPhone users to have their photos synced across their entire range of iCloud-enabled devices.

There’s just one problem with Photo Stream - it doesn’t let you delete individual photos. If you’re a user, you’ll agree it can be rather annoying to see one bad shot after another churning up on all your devices.

Well, Apple plans to fix this annoying limitation in iOS 5.1.

According to the iOS 5.1 Beta 2 release notes leaked by an unnamed registered Apple developer, “Photos taken using iOS 5.1 can be deleted from Photo Stream on your device and will be removed automatically from Photo Stream on your other iOS 5.1 devices. Older photos can be manually deleted from your iOS 5.1 devices.”

Other enhancements will be making their way in the final iOS 5.1 as well. Apple is yet to confirm the public release of the software.
