Apple’s Q2 2013 earnings call has been a treasure trove of numbers in every aspect relevant to the company’s business, including iCloud, which offers iMessage, Game Center, Mail, and various other services for Apple users.

According to a transcript from Apple’s Q2 2013 conference call, iCloud currently registers 300 million daily users. With 800 apps downloaded per second (another takeaway from the call), it’s hardly a surprise.

Apple promises to “continue to invest with new features and capabilities,” as it improves the service.

iCloud also controls Maps and Siri, two services that Apple needs to improve some more, in order to provide a reliable experience across iPhones and iPads worldwide.

Services like iMessage and Game Center are also troublesome. Just yesterday Apple was forced to acknowledge the last of a string of outages spanning several weeks.
