I used a Mac and I liked it, I hope my people don’t mind it

If you’re asking North Korean leader (and governor of the world, in his opinion) Kim Jong-un, Microsoft, Apple, Google, and all the other American companies can all disappear completely, and he won’t have any problem with it. As he has said it several times, he’s strongly against the American culture, and that involves technology too.

But unsurprisingly, Kim Jong-un doesn’t seem to be the huge US hater that he’s trying to be. In fact, he’s more of an Apple fanboy because, on several occasions, he was spotted using a Mac. And we bet he has an iPhone too.

But as Kotaku puts it, a recent tweet shows the North Korean leader with a MacBook Pro on his desk, and although that might be surprising for some people, it’s not the first time he’s using an Apple product. For instance, photos shot a few years ago show Kim using an iMac too.

And what’s more, he’s now pushing his fellow citizens to give up on Windows and make the switch to a homegrown OS that looks a lot like Mac OS X. It has a dock, the colors window controls in the left top corner, and all the other graphical UI elements of Apple’s OS.

So yes, Kim Jong-un has a MacBook and he likes it. Hey, Kim, why don’t you give us your Apple ID and let’s chat on iMessage, shall we? No nude pictures, okay?
