WaterField introduces what could well be the world’s first dedicated Mac Pro carry case

The newest Mac Pro model is arguably much smaller than its predecessor, but it’s still a heavy piece of machinery designed specifically to sit on a desk. The only time you need to move this thing around is basically when you buy it and when you sell it. Otherwise, it’s desktop-bound.

But the people at WaterField beg to differ. Somehow, they’ve discovered a market of Mac Pro movers – people who take their Mac Pro business on the road.

“Super Power on the Go. The Mac Pro Go Case protects Apple's powerful computer in transit. The ruggedly padded ballistic nylon case holds just about everything—the Mac Pro and Apple wireless keyboard plus computer accessories: a mouse, cables and power cord. The Mac Pro case is ideal for video editors, traveling gamers, game developers and big power users on the go.”

The only thing it lacks is a pocket designed to hold a 4K monitor.

Jokes aside, if these people went to the trouble of actually creating this case in bulk quantities, I guess it’s safe to assume there’s a market for it. For whoever’s interested, the thing sells for $129 (€94).

Anyone here lugging their Mac Pro from the office to the field?
