14 DAY TRIAL // There’s no stopping Yahoo! and its updating spree on iOS platforms! The latest version of the Yahoo! Weather app is out with a new set of enhancements, including an exciting new feature for those who like to get a natural sun tan.
Yahoo! Weather version 1.1 sports ultraviolet information, allowing you to know exactly how exposed you’ll be to the radiation that makes your skin go dark.
Unfortunately, the feature isn’t available in all territories, and Yahoo! fails to enumerate the countries where this tidbit is available. Guess you’ll just have to test it out.
Also new in this version, the hourly forecast has been increased to 24 hours, while the daily forecast has been extended to a full 10 days.
Yahoo! also mentions some minor changes, such as an improved app icon (personally I think it’s a downgrade), and a range of bug fixes.
