14 DAY TRIAL // Yahoo News Digest, the free app that provides a summary of all the important news every day, has received its first major update since Yahoo first deployed it on iOS platforms.
“Thank you for using News Digest and continuing to give us feedback. We've worked hard over the last month and a half to bring you the following new features,” says Yahoo.
Version 1.1 comes with UK localization and content, new Weather and Statistics atom feeds, a “What You've Read” overview, a new sharing animation and function, the ability to share Cover Posters, indication of digest completion, and some code corrections.
Users can access the “What You've Read” overview from the “DONE” section at the bottom of the digest. Yahoo News Digest is localized in dozens of different languages and requires iOS 7.0 to run.
