14 DAY TRIAL // Waze Inc. today offers one of its most important updates yet for iOS customers, enabling a widget in the iOS 8 Today view that allows customers to get information at a glance, as well as to send their current ETA during navigation.
The world's largest community-based traffic and navigation app, Waze is now at version 3.9.2 on iOS and has gained new features and enhancements this week. For example, you can tell people you’re on your way to a location faster than ever thanks to a new layout of the communications functions.
You get a new function for sending a location, route changes now include more traffic info, and maps automatically switch between 2D and 3D views when necessary. The star of the show is the new Waze Today Widget for iOS 8 customers. The development team describes it as follows:
“Quickly view your ETA for Home or Work, navigate with one tap, and easily send your current drive & ETA (when navigating). Pull down your Notification Center and tap Edit to add the extension.”
