14 DAY TRIAL // ABC’s Player app for iDevices now supports the four-inch Retina display on the iPhone 5 and the fifth-generation iPod touch. Your favorite shows will now display in full-screen on your shiny new Apple gear.
In addition to offering support for the latest iPhone and iPod touch, ABC Player includes a Featured tab design and bandwidth throttling, which allows users to control how much data they use on WiFi and how much they use on a cellular connection.
These preferences can be set in the Settings panel in iOS 6, not the app itself. Lastly, some bug fixes and stability improvements have been incorporated in this release.
ABC Player is a universal app, meaning you’ll download the same binary for all your Apple devices, including the iPad (on which it displays natively). It requires iOS 5.0 or later.
