BitTorrent client Vuze (formerly known as Azureus) has received another beta update this weekend, adding an option to change the URL of a subscription and a “rename” menu item.
A free (but ad-supported) BitTorrent app, Vuze performs peer-to-peer (P2P) file sharing via torrent files, something that piracy fans should know a lot about.
One of the most popular tools of its kind, Vuze has received yet another update in the Beta branch, adding a couple of new features / enhancements.
Vuze 5.2.0.1 Beta 6 is available for Mac, Windows, and Linux and includes a new option for changing the URL of a subscription.
According to the development team, “this will in fact create a new subscription with the updated URL and rename the existing one by appending ‘(old)’ to its name.”
The second addition in this update is a “rename” menu item for users looking to change the name displayed for a subscription. The links below can be used to grab the latest Vuze beta, as well as the newest stable build (Vuze 5.2.0.0).
