Alongside the latest Mavericks beta, Apple today is offering new Safari test builds. Safari 6.1.2 targets developers interested in serving customers that use Lion and Mountain Lion, while Safari 7.0.2 is included in OS X 10.9 and targets Mavericks customers.

According to people who are familiar with the seed notes, Safari 6.1.2 for Lion requires OS X 10.7.5 and Security Update 2013-002, while Safari 6.1.2 for Mountain Lion needs to be installed on systems running OS X 10.8.5 or later.

Safari 7.0.2 is for OS X Mavericks. Apple doesn’t offer a standalone download, but instead offers it as part of the OS X 10.9.2 seed. The latest OS X 10.9.2 beta is labeled as Build 13C44.

The focus areas for both versions of the web browser include general website compatibility, Accessibility, viewing PDFs, login AutoFill, password AutoFill, address AutoFill, and credit card AutoFill.

For Mavericks testers only, Apple says the focus is printing and emailing web pages from Reader, dragging tabs between monitors, and extension compatibility.
