Soon-to-be-iPhone-5s-owners document the heartening reception

You may have mixed feelings about Apple’s recent product refreshes, and say what you will about the people lining up to buy the latest iPhone 10 days in advance. It doesn't really matter anymore, after you watch this clip.

Apple fans remain loyal, even as Wall Street downgrades its stock and typhoons try to whisk them away from their iPhone 5s queues. The video embedded above is clear proof of that.

A bunch of Apple lovers camping out in front of Tokyo's Ginza store that got hit by the bad weather were allowed inside to dry up and rest.

It isn’t clear whether the staffers acted on their own or received instructions from the mother ship in Cupertino, but there’s a good chance Apple trains its recruits for these scenarios beforehand.

The “refugees” were also given water and, as far as I could tell, some food too. The Apple employees housed the soon-to-be-iPhone-5s-owners in the store’s theater.
