Two workers have committed suicide at an iPhone factory, according to China Labor Watch. PatentlyApple conveys the news to the world, noting that both workers jumped off of buildings to their demise.

Two suicides occurred at a Foxconn iPhone assembly plant in Zhengzhou, on April 24 and 27, respectively. One of the victims was a 24-year old male worker who jumped off of the Yukang dormitory building on April 24.

The other was female, aged 23. The woman reportedly jumped off of the 12th floor of Fuxin Apartment Building Number Nine. Medics arrived at the scene quickly but could not save her, according to China Labor Watch.

Foxconn has faced a lot of criticism over the years for not tending to the needs of its workers, and while the company has done a great job at defending itself, the suicides continue.

Of course, there’s also the matter of Foxconn employing a million people. In such a large pool, it’s not very hard to hear of incidents like these.
