The awesome Twitter client for iOS platforms, Twitterrific has received a brand new update this week featuring app badges for push notifications, a reply count, Favstar support, Twitter trends, and more.

Twitterrific 5.2.1. adds app badges for push notifications, which you can enable in your iPhone’s Settings under Notification Center.

You get a notification count for replies, mentions & DMs, and you can use app badges to clear messages from Notification Center. Favstar support has been added (also to enable in the Settings), allowing you to view a user's Favstar page.

Users can also view Favstar info on a tweet via the more actions menu. Finally, the update brings Twitter trends. Simply open the Sidebar > Search > Tweets tab to view the trends.

Numerous other improvements are included, such as faster tweet loading times, an updated search interface which remembers the last selected tab, support for Twitter stock symbols ($AAPL, etc.) and lots more. Get the full scoop at this link here.
