14 DAY TRIAL // One of the most popular Twitter clients for iPhone and, most recently, the iPad, Tweetbot is making its way onto the Mac later this year.
The confirmation comes from Mark Jardine, Tapbots designer, who teased his followers with the following tweet yesterday: “The screen on the retina MBP is just gorgeous,” showing an image which clearly depicts Tweetbot running on Apple’s new MacBook Pro.
It doesn’t have anything to do with the new MacBook Pro, though. Tapbot’s Twitter client, Tweetbot has been quite popular on iOS devices, which makes the desktop release quite relevant. In fact, it’s a must for the developer, considering the demand.
Pressed by his followers to elaborate more, Jardine said he couldn’t speak about future apps, but indulged one commenter by posting a high-resolution image.
