Popular Twitter Client TweetDeck has received a small but important update on the Mac, adding improvements to compose typeahead functionality and some fixes.

“TweetDeck makes it easier for publishers, marketers and power users to track the real-time conversations they care about,” says Twitter Inc. “It brings more flexibility and insight to power users through a customizable layout that lets you keep up with the people and topics that matter most to you.”

Twitter released TweetDeck 3.5.9 with the main goal of improving compose typeahead functionality, but the microblogging service also found it necessary to look around for bugs while they were at it.

Without fail, the company’s engineers hunted down an annoying issue involving “application start-up for users upgrading from older versions.” This problem shouldn’t nag anyone anymore now. TweetDeck 3.5.9 requires Mac OS X 10.6.6 (Snow Leopard) and a 64-bit Intel processor. The app still only supports English.
