Remember the ‘90s game every kid in your generation used to play? First available back in 1996 in Japan, the Tamagotchi quickly became one of the most popular games of all time.

Last year, we told you that Tamagotchi was bound to make a comeback, as the Pebble smartwatch announced it was offering support for the iOS Hatchi app, which invited you to take care of a digital beast by feeding, walking or playing with it.

And now that the Apple Watch is out and about, the Tamagotchi revival crew has turned its attention to the Messiah of all wearables.

Bandai used to have a Tamagotchi app designed for Android, but it is no longer available in the Play store.

Now, Tamagotchi Classic is available in the Apple App Store and users can play it on the iPhone, iPad, and even the Apple Watch.

So if you want a pixelated beastly companion hanging around your wrist asking to be fed and bathed, you can go ahead and download the app, with the mention that it will cost you $0.99 / €0.9 to do so.

But you will surely not be disappointed, since the experience the app provides is pretty similar to the original. Except that the Tamagotchi is now locked within the boundaries of the Apple Watch screen.
