New concept video gives us an idea of what the iPhone 6 might really look like

Designer Joseph Farahi (through his ovalpicture.com site) is giving us a look at his latest iPhone 6 mockups, which he believes are very close to the real deal. Farahi even believes that Apple’s bigger iPhone will ship in multiple colors, like the current 5c.

The company this year is expected to lift the cloth off a redesigned iPhone 6 with a bigger, 4.7-inch display. Some rumors mention an even larger, 5.7-inch screen, but the Cupertino giant has shown no intention to adopt a phablet form factor.

The best bet is indeed for an iPhone 6 with a 4.7-inch Retina display that goes edge to edge on the horizontal and forces the bezel to shrink on the vertical. If the company also ends up shaving off some of the bulk (not that any iPhone has ever been considered fat), Joseph Farahi’s “iPhone C” concept may well give us a look at the real iPhone 6.

One thing I’m pretty sure won’t happen is the color set. The iPhone 5c is a product catering to smaller audiences, and it’s reportedly selling so-and-so. One of the reasons for that is the rainbow color set which doesn’t really appeal to everyone. Which is why I’m reluctant to agree with Farahi on his view that the next-generation iPhone will adopt the same color set.
