Back to the Future fans will crave the DeLorian case just to put it on their desk, not necessarily on their iPhones too

If you’re between 25 and 30, chances are you’ve probably seen the legendary Back to the Future, a sci-fi classic starring Michael J. Fox and Christopher Lloyd. As if the time machine concept weren’t exciting enough, this movie pitched time travel like never before - with an actual car.

The four-wheeled star was the DeLorean, a car that didn’t exactly sport an exquisite design, but it sure looked like something from the future. Well, for those of you already stricken by melancholy, Japanese toy company Bandai has made an iPhone case that looks exactly like Marty McFly’s time travel machine.

You need to twist and turn its wheels, or slide open various parts to reach the volume buttons or the camera, making it somewhat a pain in the neck to use on your iPhone. But if you’re a die hard fan, you’ll probably move past these minor nuisances faster than you can say “Fusion Home Energy Reactor.” Plus, it has all kinds of built-in LEDs and it even flashes the head lights when you’re getting a call. How cool is that?

Bandai sells it for 50 bucks apiece (€44) and they even have a nice promo video for you to watch, in case you’re not convinced it’s a must have (embedded below).
