Although Macs are not ideal gaming machines, studios like Feral and Aspyr Media are doing wonders porting AAA titles to Apple platforms. Soon enough, we might be able to add another such game to the list – Titanfall.

A jaw-dropping shooter that combines wall-running action with fast-paced titan combat, Titanfall is already the winner of seven dozen awards from gaming critics worldwide. If you don’t know how awesome it is, we forgive you and direct you to our own review of the game which also happens to include a very thrilling gameplay video. Dive in.

Now for the good news regarding the Mac port. Vince Zampella of Respawn Entertainment has just confirmed on Twitter that the studio is in talks with Mac games publisher Aspyr Media and that the latter “should” deliver.

His exact words were, “We are talking to Aspyr, they should do it.” Take it for what you will but from where we stand it sounds like Aspyr is already coding up the Mac version of Titanfall. Zampella had earlier confirmed to a fan on Twitter the company was “talking about [a Mac version],” and that they “would like to see it happen.”

The system requirements for this one are pretty steep, but it should work well on any Mac from 2012 on.
