A new section up on iTunes called “Only on the App Store” lists dozens of free and paid applications that are exclusive to the iPhone and iPad.

These apps and games are off limits to Android users, as well as to the people who use Windows phones, BlackBerries, etc.

Adding insult to injury, Apple says “Your iPhone is unlike anything else. And there’s only one place to discover all of the incredibly unique apps and games that help it shine.”

“Whether it’s a photo editor that adds extra flair to your pictures, an amazing language translator, or an epic adventure game, you’ll find the best apps and games exclusively on the App Store,” Apple adds.

Among the key titles I’ve spotted in the three categories listed there (New Releases, Apps, and Games), I’ll highlight The Drowning, Lums, Game of War - Fire Age, VintiqueCam, iMPC for iPhone, IFTTT, iTranslate Voice, City Guides by National Geographic, Action Movie FX, Clear, Tweetbod for Twitter, Hipstamatic, Things, Kickstarter, Star Walk, Reeder, Badland, Clash of Clans, Infinity Blade, and Deus Ex: The Fall.
