14 DAY TRIAL // As promised, Time Warner Cable has released a brand new version of its iOS application providing subscribers with a free solution to watch television programs away from their home WiFi.
TWC TV 3.2.0 is a new version of Time Warner’s iOS television app, which now offers live television outside the confines of your home.
No word on whether you can watch your favorite shows on a cellular connection, but TWC assures customers that they can “access selected On Demand programming and live TV channels while away from home.”
Other enhancements include the ability to filter the live TV mini-guide by category, sort the live TV mini-guide network, show title, as well as alphabetically, and the usual bug fixes and performance enhancements.
Hardware requirements include iPad, iPhone (3GS, 4, 4S or 5), iPod Touch (3rd generation or newer) and iOS 5.
