Endless runner Subway Surfers seems to be on an endless world tour as developer Kiloo has announced the gazillionth pit stop, this time in Japan. Players can surf with the charming Harumi in Tokio’s busy metro.

Released as Subway Surfers version 1.24.0, the Japan edition takes players to the Land of the Rising Sun to “grind trains with charming Harumi in vibrant Tokyo, drift through the Subway on the powerful Windglider board, customize your crew with cool new Outfits for Harumi and Ninja, [and] reach new goals to earn the Board Rider Award.”

A typical update from the renowned developer which sells the game in collaboration with Sybo Games, Subway Surfers 1.24 requires iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4, iPhone 4S, iPhone 5, iPhone 5s, iPhone 5c, iPad second generation, iPad third generation, iPad fourth generation, iPad Air, iPad mini, iPad mini with Retina display, iPod touch third generation, iPod touch fourth generation, and iPod touch fifth generation.

In other words, the game works on pretty much any type of hardware as long as you have iOS 5.0 (or later) installed. You can download Subway Surfers and even play most of the game without paying a dime, but there are certain features that require in-app purchases.
