Speaking at a tech conference in Australia recently, Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak expressed his own opinion about the faulty Maps application in iOS 6, saying he didn’t believe it was “that severe.”

“I don't know if [the reported issues] are that severe,” he told reporters, pointing out to the antennagate problem that caused a PR nightmare for Apple in 2010.

The Fusion-io Chief Scientist noted that many users failed to notice the reception problem in real-world use, despite widespread criticism that Apple had messed up the antenna on the device.

“Sometimes there are a lot of complaints about one little thing people spot, but it's not that hard to deal with in life,” said the Woz, according to ZDNet. “I don't know yet about Maps -- I'm a little worried about the navigation -- but I've still got it covered with a bunch of other navigation apps.”

Wozniak is also planning to become a dual citizen in Australia, reports say.
