Business Insider’s SAI has dug up a nice little tidbit regarding one of Steve Jobs’ last contributions to Apple before passing away last year.

Jobs apparently made one last hire before he died from pancreatic cancer in October - Toshi Sukama, a sushi chef who owned a Menlo Park restaurant called Kaygetsu's, where Jobs himself was a regular.

Sukama specialized in omakaze-style meals which, as SAI points out, are based on seafood delicacies. A former regular customer of Sukama’s tells the site, "I ate there many times and also at his previous Menlo Park restaurant which was Toshi's Sushiya. [I] saw Jobs there eating by himself a lot."

Before joining Apple in November, Sukama and his wife sent out a note announcing the closing of the restaurant, as well as Sukama's plans to start work on the Apple campus. The letter is pictured above (click to enlarge for the full text).
