Skyfire Web Browser for iPad - The Flash Video Browser has been promoted to version 5.0.1 which brings contextual browsing to users worldwide.

In the latest version of Skyfire for iPad, the web apps you’ve placed in your Horizon toolbar will react to the content you are browsing, “offering amazing browsing tools, enhancements, recommendations and search improvements never before available to a mobile browser,” according to the developers.

Skyfire Labs promises to release an update soon to allow users to disable the Skyfire Horizon toolbar. Seemingly, there’s a great deal of users who would like to remove all the social and interactive buttons.

Skyfire, for those who don’t use the app, is a web browser that puts Flash on the iPad. Not all sites are supported, and Flash games are also out. Read the complete specs sheet before downloading the $2.99 / €2.69 app.
