SketchBook Pro, a professional-grade paint and drawing application, has been promoted to version 2.5 to include the ability to randomize color for each stroke, quicker access to core functions, a palm rest, and more.

Delivering a complete set of sketching and painting tools via an intuitive user interface tailored specifically for the iPad’s 10-inch screen, SketchBook Pro 2.5 lets users independently control hue, saturation and brightness, as well as gain access to Color Editor and Color Picker much faster.

An improved color palette is available in the new version, as is the ability to randomize color for each stroke. Other changes include a palm rest, all brush sets loading by default, and bug fixes.

Developed by Autodesk Inc., SketchBook Pro is compatible only with the Apple iPad and requires iOS 4.0 or later.
