14 DAY TRIAL // Apple partner Shazam is offering a new version of its popular audio-recognition app which adds enhancements for scanning TV programs to bring up a wealth of information about that particular show.
Shazam version 7.6.0 comes with matured algorithms that let it deliver more information from a simple audio recording of your shows. The company explains:
“Shazaming your favorite TV show is better than ever with a new result page and easier access to music from the show. You’ll also be able to see a full cast list, read about the show and catch up on all the latest celebrity gossip.”
Users will further be able to share their Shazam tags through the LINE instant messaging app, and Shazam promises to “update your News to let you know when your favorite artists have a Ticketmaster concert nearby.” People with questions about the service and how it works are encouraged to visit the community pages at http://support.shazam.com.
To download Shazam 7.6.0, all you need is an iDevice with iOS 6.0 or iOS 7.0 installed. The Shazam interface is localized in various different languages, including English, Czech, Dutch, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Polish, Portuguese, Russian, Simplified Chinese, Spanish, and Traditional Chinese.
