14 DAY TRIAL // Vringo has announced a beta version of its Facetones app for iPhone. Available now in the App Store, the software is designed to deliver a visually exciting social update to a phone each time a user makes or receives a phone call.
The app displays a full screen photo of a user's Facebook friends' picture whenever he / she gets a call. Vringo expects to integrate Facetones with other social networks in the future, including photo sites like Instagram.
Facetones keeps itself updated with the pictures displayed with the friends’ latest Facebook pictures. It’s compatible with iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad and requires iOS 3.1 or later.
