iPhone 4S owners are primarily targeted by the update, but there have been reports from owners of older-generation devices running iOS 5 that their batteries were draining faster then normal.
It’s probably too soon to know whether or not iOS 5.0.1 has addressed the problem, given that Apple only released the patch hours ago.
