UK’s popular BBC iPlayer app is now fully compatible with iOS 7, and that includes smoother playback, thanks to a recent bug fix issued by Media Applications Technologies Limited.

Published by the British Broadcast Corporation and coded by Media Applications Technologies Limited, BBC iPlayer is a free iPhone and iPad app that puts the best BBC TV programming and BBC Radio content on your iDevice.

You can use it to download TV programs to watch offline, watch and listen live over Wi-Fi and 3G, see what’s been aired in the past week, add shows to a Favourites queue, use AirPlay to put content on a bigger screen, and more.

BBC iPlayer 2.2.1 won’t miss a beat in iOS 7, thanks to a recent update which delivers full support for playback under the new firmware, as well as a bug fix for downloads.
