Rdio has announced a major new update for iPhone and iPad customers, Rdio 2.5.7, which includes playlist editing, reviews, and some cosmetic enhancements.

According to the Rdio blog, “Now, you can update your playlists from your iPhone or iPod touch — in addition to creating playlists and adding new tracks, you can now remove and rearrange tracks until you’ve made the best playlist ever (or it’s dethroned by your next playlist, of course).”

Don’t let the citation fool you. iPad users get the same benefits, including the ability to customize playlist artwork, change its visibility and collaboration settings, etc.

Users can now write album and playlist reviews right from their iDevice, as well as skim through reviews left by others.

“It’s a great way to see what other listeners think of your favorite albums and let your own voice be heard,” according to the Rdio team.

The interface has been tweaked a little to be more usable. The development team promises to deliver all this goodness to the Android user base soon. Download Rdio 2.5.7 on any iOS 6 device.
