Multi-lens photo case works like a tile puzzle game

A company called Puzlook has released an iPhone case so strange that you can’t resist not looking into. Of the thousands of photography-centric cases out there, this one should have no problem taking home the crown.

Designed for convenience and usability, the Puzzlook is a plastic case for your iPhone 5 or iPhone 5s that straps on the back of the phone and includes five slidable lenses. You slide the lens tiles like in a puzzle game.

For 100 bucks (or just over €70 if you live in Europe), the Puzlook comes with a fisheye lens, 120° and 160° wide angle lenses, a 1.5x telephoto, and an 8x macro lens. Also built inside the case is a tripod mount and an 8GB memory stick that also works as a stand.

iPhone cases are a dime a dozen, but this one seems pretty radical. Granted, it’s not much of a looker and it appears quite bulky, but photographers who don’t always carry their DSLR with them will greatly appreciate the potential.

As Puzlook itself notes (likely citing a well-known photographer’s quote), “the best lens is the one that’s always with you.” Having a built-in lens for each moment throughout the day certainly takes this quote to a new level.
