YoWindow is a cool weather app which displays a “living” landscape that reflects your actual weather. If it's snowing outside, it will be snowing in YoWindow too.

Developer Pavel Repkin is feeling mighty generous and is making the app free of charge for all iDevice owners today, and I do mean all iDevices because the app is now natively supported on iPads (including those with Retina displays).

Version 1.1 also brings some astronomy features, including sunrise, sunset, moon phases, day length, etc. A new Dock Mode allows you to keep the display on at all times.

iPhone 3GS users who update to the new version will see “pixel perfect text” according to Repkin, while Japanese users will finally see their language supported in YoWindow. The app requires iOS 5.0 or later.
