After being acquired for $90 million / €68.4 million by LinkedIn, the Pulse news service is now offering the ability to share stories with your professional network.

In a logical move, Alphonso Labs Inc. has updated its Pulse app for iOS platforms adding integration with LinkedIn, so that users can share stories with their professional network in a more convenient manner.

In addition to this minor enhancement, Pulse 3.1 saves stories to Pocket with a single tap. Evernote and Instapaper are also supported as offline reading sources.

Pulse remains compatible with iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4, iPhone 4S, iPhone 5, iPod touch (3rd generation), iPod touch (4th generation), iPod touch (5th generation), and iPad. The app requires iOS 5.0 or later and is fully optimized for iPhone 5.
