Pocket, formerly known as Read It Later, is available as a free download for all iDevice owners running iOS 6. In a new version of the application, developer Idea Shower has added some fixes and enhancements worthy of all users’ attention.

Pocket 4.6.2 fixes a bug that could cause the app to become unresponsive, and patches an issue involving a disappearing status bar. Also fixed, embedded videos no longer continue playing when the user closes an article. Other minor bug fixes are also incorporated in this update.

Pocket is one of the best apps of its kind. An offline reading service available free of charge, both as a standalone app and in your web browser, Pocket lets you save interesting articles, videos, and pretty much any web page you stumble across and find interesting.

“Once it’s in Pocket, it automatically syncs across to your phone, tablet and computer so you can view it anytime on any device, even without an internet connection,” according to the developer.

You can download Pocket 4.6.2 on any iDevice as long as you’re running iOS 6 or later.
