Plex Inc. is out with a new version of its media player application for iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad users, adding support for the latest firmware and a refreshed media component.

Version 3.3 has a new look and feel to match iOS 7, Apple’s newest iPhone and iPad software that sports a flat design and minimalistic graphics. Plex Inc. has yet to update the promotional screenshots to reflect the refresh on the App Store.

Plex 3.3 further includes a new media player for music and videos, as well as various performance and stability improvements. The update is free for all existing users, while newcomers pay $4.99 / €4.49 for it.

Plex streams media from your home computers running Plex Media Server. Requirements include a Mac running OS X Snow Leopard or later, a PC running Windows XP or later, or a Linux computer with an Intel CPU.
