Placed right in front of The Steve Jobs Building on campus

Acclaimed animation film studio Pixar has planted a tree in front of its Steve Jobs Building, dedicating the branching plant to the late Apple CEO.

Following the death of visionary genius Steve Jobs, Pixar renamed one of its main facilities to “The Steve Jobs Building,” honoring the man who co-founded the studio years ago.

Credited as an executive producer of the 1996 smash-hit Toy Story, the late Steve Jobs is regarded as a  “partner, mentor, and friend” by the Pixar staff. And the same thing is written on the commemorative plate which they impaled in the ground right next to the handsome plant.

No word on what type of tree it is, but it doesn’t look like one that grows apples, or any type of fruit for that matter. Maybe they don’t want a mess around it every fall.
