The creative gents at Corel are wasting no time in addressing the most urgent matters reported by users of its $12.99 / €11.99 Pinnacle Studio app, and so they’ve released update 3.0.4 in the App Store right on the US Independence Day.

Pinnacle Studio version 3.0.4 fixes a bug causing black frames at the end of Pan-and-Zoom, as well as a crash involving missing media records. In order to track crashes on future releases, a new tracking system has been implemented.

For those who haven’t updated to version 3 yet, the new Pinnacle Studio promises to do everything much faster, and that includes rendering.

Requirements include iPad 2 Wi-Fi, iPad 2 Wi-Fi + 3G, iPad (3rd generation), iPad Wi-Fi + 4G, iPad (4th generation), iPad Wi-Fi + Cellular (4th generation), iPad mini, and iPad mini Wi-Fi + Cellular. iOS 5.1 is the minimum OS version Pinnacle runs on.
