Adobe has just announced the release of its Photoshop Touch for iPhones, a new version of its photo editing software that had been previously available on iPads exclusively.

The app continues to feature a great collection of photo editing tools, including layers, selection features, adjustments, filters, brushes, and many other utilities that could help iPhone users create astonishing photos.

“We also packed in features exclusive to Photoshop Touch, like Scribble Selection for high-precision selections using only your finger, and Camera Fill for real-time creative blending of your camera feed with layers. This app features the same creative filters as the tablet version, like Color Drops and Acrylic Paint, and also a new Ripple filter,” Adobe explained.

Photoshop Touch is compatible with iPhone 4S, iPhone 5 and iPod touch but, according to Adobe, it’s optimized for the newest iPhone released by Apple. Still, it requires iOS 6.0 or later.

Just as expected, Photoshop Touch doesn’t come with a freeware license, but it costs only $4.99 (€3.85) in case you have already purchased the iPad version that’s being delivered with a $9.99 (€7.95) price tag.
