Not much of a Rubber-Band fan? You’re not alone, but now there’s a solution to it. OnyX 2.6.9 is now available with an On/Off toggle for the Rubber-Band scrolling in OS X, along with some other cool features.

Apple has introduced some neat iOS features in the newest versions of its desktop operating system, including the Rubber-Band scrolling which lets you know you’ve hit end-of-page with a cool animation that makes it feel as if the page is bound with elastic strings at its sides.

It’s a nice touch, but not necessarily a useful one for more traditional users, such as myself.

Luckily, OnyX is here to help. In the latest update (2.6.9), the maintenance utility includes a new option to turn on/turn off the Rubber-Band scrolling.

Additionally, users can now delete saved application states, show/hide interface level switching (simple/full Finder), and there’s an improved Help module.

Also new, the software uses an updated version of sqlite3, while disk checks can now be performed without quitting all applications.
