Following a BGR report citing a source who has seen the iPad version of Office for iPad, The Daily now confirms that “Microsoft will launch Office for iPad on Nov. 10.”

The first digital newspaper exclusive to the iPad, The Daily, is a news service in the United States and Australia, owned by News Corporation.

This should add some weight to their claims that “that the development team within Office Mobile finished its work on the project last month, and the efforts of the design group wrapped soon after.”

According to the publication, Microsoft’s Office app for iPads is now being tested by a “usability team.” The productivity suite needs to be approved by this group of people before Microsoft can send over the binary to Apple for its ultimate test of endurance – access in the iTunes App Store.
