Apple is preparing to release OS X v10.8.5 Supplemental Update (12F45) 1.0 to all Mac users, in an attempt to address newly discovered bugs. The official release notes for this update have been leaked.

Obtained by 9to5mac as part of a bulk leak, the changelog for OS X v10.8.5 Supplemental Update (12F45) 1.0 states that this new release “is recommended for all users running OS X Mountain Lion v10.8.5.”

In this update Apple attempts to patch a bug preventing certain applications from using the FaceTime HD camera on mid-2013 MacBook Air computers.

For users experiencing an issue with external drives getting ejected after the computer goes to sleep, 10.8.5 “supplemental” contains a fix. An issue that may prevent HDMI audio from working after waking from sleep is also addressed in this update.

Finally, the Mountain Lion patch reportedly fixes an issue involving non-working USB Bluetooth adapters.
