Apple on Friday seeded its vast developer community with a new build of OS X Mountain Lion, the sixth in this development cycle (10.8.4), which includes a new focus area for testers.

Containing no known issues and weighing 362MB in barebones delta form, OS X Mountain Lion v10.8.4 Build 12E55 lists the same focus areas as the builds before it, as well as an extra one.

Developers are told to direct their testing efforts at Wi-Fi, Graphics Drivers and the Safari web browser, but also to focus their attention on Windows File Sharing.

Apparently Apple wants Macs and Windows computers to get along better.

To download the new build, developers can either visit the official portal at developer.apple.com/downloads, or use the Software Update mechanism in the Mac App Store (should they already have a beta of OS X 10.8.4 installed).
