Apple started their week with lots of brand new stuff, starting with iOS 8 Beta 3 and a new version of the OS X Yosemite.

Here's a list of what's new in the new developer preview, according to 9to5mac.

QuickTime has a brand new flatter icon. The version that comes with OS X 10.10 Yosemite is 10.4 and Apple has changed the copyright to 2014. The redesigned app has a lower size – 15.7MB instead of 16.5MB in OS X 10.9.4 Mavericks.

The long-awaited Dark Mode is now available and it can be enabled in the System Preferences app. All you have to do is go to System Preferences – General and change the Theme to Dark.

There are some small changes in the way System Preferences looks: in the Desktop picture settings, for example, the selection menu that used to let you choose if the picture will be centered or full screen has disappeared.

The badges used for notifications in the Dock have been increased and there's a different font for that number in the red circle.

Mail.app has new icons in the toolbar. They have been redesigned to match the ones in iOS.

FaceTime app has two tabs – one for video and one for Audio. You can choose whether you want to see the Recent calls for either of them.

Time Machine has a newly designed interface.
