Tech lover and Apple zealot Nikolai Baker discovered a neat thing in iOS 6 (beta): Mail.app lets you preview an App Store application before heading over to the digital distribution venue for the download.

Handing his finding to the folks at Cult of Mac, Baker notes: “found something interesting, iOS6, clicking a link to App Store in mail app launches a mini store window!”

Indeed, as the included image shows, Mail in iOS 6 pops out an overlay window acting like a bit of a virtual machine for the App Store, complete with an “update” button for installed apps and (presumably) a “buy” button for those apps that haven’t been installed on the respective unit. Pretty neat!
