If you’re one of those people who like to mix multiple technologies, you should know that Microsoft has updated earlier today, March 7, its OneDrive client application for the Mac OS X computer operating system to version 17.3.4724 build 0224.

This new version replaces the OneDrive 17.3.4713 build 0209 release that was published on the Mac App Store last week, on February 28, 2015. What is interesting, is that the new OneDrive version sports the same new features and improvements brought by the previous release of the software.

Among the highlights, we can mention support for darkmode, overall improvements to sync reliability, as well as reduced CPU usage on application startup. Additionally, OneDrive 17.3.4724 brings various improvements to the file sync performance and addresses an issue that caused the client to crash in certain conditions.

Last but not least, the new OneDrive app for Mac introduces an option for the “max file path” issues, in order to keep your login credentials. All Mac OS X users can update to the new OneDrive version right now via the Mac App Store application. As usual, you will have to close the client prior to attempting installing it on your Mac.
