Microsoft published a new update to its Office Suite (Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft PowerPoint) for iOS in the App Store on iTunes. All three apps have been updated to version 1.9.2 and users will get some attractive new features.

Common to all Microsoft Office components, it is now possible to save, edit, and open Word, Excel, or PowerPoint documents to/from your favorite online storage service, including Apple's iCloud. However, the latter will require a device with iOS 8 or later.

New in the Microsoft Word app, we can mention the implementation of new templates that allow users to create gorgeous Word documents faster than ever, simply by using one of the pre-installed templates.

The Microsoft Excel app gains Excel Add-ins, a new functionality that promises to enhance your spreadsheets while helping you increase your productivity when creating Excel documents on the go. However, it will only work on iPads and requires iOS 8.2 or later.

Lastly, the Microsoft PowerPoint app now lets users insert media files (images and videos) into presentations directly from their camera. In addition, it is now possible to change the layout of the slide.

In similar news, the Microsoft Outlook app has also been updated, bringing bug fixes and overall performance improvements. All the apps are now available on the App Store worldwide and you can update immediately.
