A new Bing client is out for Apple customers wielding shiny iPhones and iPads, delivering news on the homepage, more stability, and enhanced search.

Microsoft’s Bing may not be as versatile as Google, but it does its bit. Apple even offers Bing as the default search engine in Mobile Safari, which is flattering to Microsoft but not so much to the user itself.

But there’s also a standalone Bing app which you can download from the App Store and use at your leisure. Version 4.3 (at the time of this writing), to be precise.

According to Microsoft, iOS customers can download Bing 4.3 and “access News to quickly find out what’s happening from homepage.”

The updated search engine also sports an enhanced “back” button which provides more stability in your web browsing sessions. Last but not least, the changelog says this update also improves daily image hotspot searches.
